Terms of Service
Last updated: March 11, 2026
These terms govern your use of Rymi, including the macOS app and any account-based services. By using Rymi, you agree to these terms.
What Rymi is
Rymi is a macOS task management application. The app works locally on your Mac. You can optionally create an account to enable sync across devices. Rymi is provided by Laura and Cordt Zermin.
Your account
If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your credentials secure. Use a strong, unique password. If you suspect unauthorized access, let us know immediately.
Acceptable use
Use Rymi for its intended purpose - managing your tasks. Don't attempt to reverse engineer, exploit, or interfere with the service. Don't use Rymi to store or transmit content that is illegal or harmful.
Your data
Your tasks are yours. We don't claim ownership of anything you put into Rymi. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.
Availability
We aim to keep Rymi and its sync service available and reliable, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. The app works offline by design - your tasks are always available locally even if our servers aren't.
Limitation of liability
Rymi is provided as-is. We do our best to make it reliable and useful, but we're a small team and things can go wrong. We're not liable for data loss, missed deadlines, or other damages arising from your use of Rymi. Back up anything important.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Rymi evolves. If we make significant changes, we'll update the date above. Continued use of Rymi after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
