Share extension (iOS)
On iPhone and iPad, the share extension turns anything you can share into a Rymi task. Reading an article, looking at a page, or holding some selected text, you send it to Rymi and keep moving.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”Tap the system Share button in any app and choose Rymi. A small sheet appears with a title field focused and ready:
- Share a link and its page title is pre-filled as the task title, with the URL kept for reference.
- Share short text and it becomes the title.
- Share longer text and it becomes the task’s description, so you can give the task your own short title.
- Share a link with selected text and the text becomes the title with the URL in the description.
Confirm and the task is saved to your Inbox.
Keep it light
Section titled “Keep it light”The extension is built for speed, so it stays minimal: no smart parsing, no project picker, no deadline. Capture the thing now, then add a project, a deadline, or a recurrence later in the app when you process your Inbox.
On the Mac, the equivalent is Global Quick Capture.
