Switch from Asana

Rymi imports Asana projects from Asana’s CSV export.

Export from Asana

1. Open the project you want to move in Asana.
2. Open the project’s dropdown menu and choose Export → CSV.
3. Save the .csv file.

Import into Rymi

1. In Rymi, open Settings → Data → Import Data….
2. Choose Asana.
3. Pick your .csv file.
4. Review the preview, choose whether active tasks go to your Inbox or Backlog, and click Import.

What carries over

• Tasks and notes, with due dates. The task’s project becomes a Rymi project.
• Completed tasks land in your Archive.
• Sub-tasks are attached to their parent and folded into its notes as a checklist.
• Tags are added to each task’s notes.

What does not

• Sections and columns within a project are not kept (Rymi projects are flat).
• Start dates, assignees, and dependencies are not imported.
• Asana’s CSV does not include recurring-task schedules, so recurrence does not come across.

Everything the import drops or changes is shown in the preview before you commit, and you can Undo Import from the result screen.
