Multi-select & batch actions

When you are tidying up, acting on tasks one at a time is slow. Select several and do it once.

On the Mac:

  • ⌘-click toggles a task in or out of the selection
  • ⇧-click selects a range
  • ⇧↑ / ⇧↓ extend the selection with the keyboard

On iPhone and iPad, long-press a task (or use its context menu) and choose Select Multiple to enter selection mode, then tap to add tasks.

With several tasks selected, the usual actions apply to all of them:

  • Move to Today (T) or Backlog (B)
  • Complete (⌘⏎)
  • Archive, or unarchive from the Archive (A)
  • Set a project (P) or a deadline (D)
  • Delete ()

Rymi only offers actions that make sense for every task in the selection, so you never half-apply something.

A batch action undoes as a single step: one ⌘Z reverses the entire thing, with a toast to confirm. See history, undo & delete.
