The morning summary

The morning summary is a single daily notification that tells you what is pressing before you open the app. It is deliberately quiet: if nothing needs attention, it stays silent.

The summary covers your deadlines: what is due today or overdue, and what is approaching within the next few days. If there is nothing urgent, no notification is sent that day. It never nags you about a clear calendar.

It is scheduled once a day at a time you choose, 8:00am by default. You can set any time between 7:00 and 10:00am in five-minute steps from Settings.

Tapping the notification before 10am opens the morning check-in if you have not planned yet, so the nudge leads straight into the ritual. Later in the day it just brings Rymi to the front.

Rymi asks once, a week after you start using it, and you can change it any time in Settings. The summary needs system notification permission; if that is denied, the toggle is disabled until you grant it. Rymi keeps the schedule current as your tasks and deadlines change.
